Welcome to our website.
We aim to contribute to the efforts taken to help equip young people with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to transition into adulthood as confident and compassionate citizens.
In a fast changing world that puts increasing demands for higher levels of skills and qualifications, the provision of innovative and exciting out of school hours learning activities, in a safe and non-formal settings, has become critical to our children’s achievement. Non formal learning offers a new way of thinking about education and its methodology and principles can be successfully applied to deal with challenging situations young people may find themselves in during their school life.

UK – WWS Sessions Commence at schools!
Every Child is delighted to be able to start our Weaving Webs of Stories programme with young Londoners, now that Covid-19 restrictions are beginning to ease. The sessions are part of our European Commission-funded seven-country literacy and inclusion project, designed to improve literacy and promote reading and creativity, all in a framework of boosting literacy competencies and questioning and challenging discrimination and prejudice in society – all the pertinent as the George Floyd murder verdict is resonating across the world.
Our sessions start today at Islington Arts and Media School. Sessions at Rokesly Junior School in Haringey will commence next week.
We know that children have had a hard time during lockdowns, and hope that participants will enjoy and benefit from our 12-week non-formal course. We’re certainly looking forward to the stories they will be creating!

The impact of COVID19
School-based activities in partner countries were due to start between February and April 2020, but the COVID crisis has meant unavoidable delays, except in Romania, where a 12-week course with one group of pupils was able to be completed, and in Bulgaria, where partners were able to adapt course materials for online delivery, a model now being adopted across the partnership.
Partners have also agreed to request from the UK national agency an extension to the end date of the project, so that the Weaving Webs of Stories course can be delivered to selected schools in each country.
Weaving Webs of Stories Project Launched in Madrid
1 December 2019
The project’s first transnational partnership meeting, hosted by our Spanish partner, ACCESOFIA, was held in Madrid in November 2019, including a thorough review of delivery, management and coordination plans.
The meeting included detailed discussion on intellectual outputs, curricula and lesson plans, with lively and enthusiastic contributions from each partner nation to create robust course outlines. Further discussions have taken place subsequently to create a menu of learning activities and lesson plans.
